UBB obtained the Responsible Company - Responsible Employees silver distinction for 2024

UBB obtained the Responsible Company - Responsible Employees silver distinction of the BCause Foundation for 2024. The Bank was distinguished for the activity of the United for Charity Association over the past year.
The Association was established in 2006 with the aim to support employees and their families and for the realization of volunteer campaigns and initiatives of a different type. In 2024 it donated more than BGN 350 000 in support of employees, children with diseases, scholarships, for organizing a children’s camp and others, as well as the holding of four charity bazaars.

The Responsible Company - Responsible Employees annual distinction is a joint initiative of the BCause Foundation, the Bulgarian Public Relations Association (BPRA), the Bulgarian Association for People Management (BAPM) and the Sustainability Specialists Association (SSA) in Bulgaria.
The distinction level is being determined based on objective criteria, linked to a percentage of participating employees, the diversity of charitable projects in the workplace and the mechanisms, through which the company popularizes, promotes and develops further its regular donorship programmes.
The jury that assessed the applications, comprised the following members: Ms. Elitsa Barakova, Executive Director of the BCause Foundation; Ms. Anna Pancheva, Management Board Chairperson of the Bulgarian Association for People Management (BAPM); Ms. Marina Stefanova, Chairperson of the Sustainability Specialists Association (SSA) in Bulgaria; Mr. Ivan Yanakiev, Chairman of the Bulgarian Public Relations Association (BPRA), and Mr. Daniel Kiryakov, Public Communications Manager at the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria.
The ceremony for distinguishing the badge of honor bearers was held on 13 March 2025 in Peroto club, Sofia city.
