Raiffeisenbank donates scholarships to students from the American University in Bulgaria

Raiffeisenbank donates 25 000 USD to students from the American University in Bulgaria. The donation will be used for the establishment of 10 scholarships of Raiffeisenbank. The scholarships will be given to 10 excellent students from the university for the educational 2006-2007.
The ten scholarships, each amounting 2 500 USD, will be given to Bulgarian students with excellent success in Business Administration, Economy and Computer Science.
The American University in Bulgaria has been educating students from Bulgaria and other countries for the last 15 years. Nowadays, a thousand students from more than 25 different countries are studying there. The university enjoys high interest from graduates and was ranked among the best universities in the country for its quality of education in the newest employers’ rating. The university has accreditation both in Bulgaria and USA.
Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) EAD was established in 1994. The Bank is fully owned by Raiffeisen International (RI) – the company that operates the subsidiaries of Raiffeisen Zentralbank Oesterreich (RZB) in Central and Eastern Europe.
Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) has a network of more than 80 branches all over the country, as the branch in Blagoevgrad operates since 2001.
