RRF - Sustainability Guarantee Programme

Loans under alleviated collateral conditions, thanks to the guarantee, provided by the European Investment Fund /EIF/ under the InvestEU guarantee instrument and funded by the European Union under the NextGenerationEU plan, with the support of the Republic of Bulgaria by means of its contribution as per the Member States Section of the InvestEU Regulation.

Parameters

Borrowers	Small and medium-sized enterprises, as per the SME Act or small medium-capitalization companies (with staff number up to 499 employees, which do not fall into the SME definition)
Purpose	Working capital loans – overdrafts, revolving credit lines, working capital loans in installments, VAT credit lines Investment loans Bank Guarantees
Maximum loan amount	Up to EUR 7 500 000 or its equivalence in Bulgarian leva
Maximum customer exposure amount	The Guarantee programme permits a customer exposure to reach EUR 15 000 000 (or its equivalence in Bulgarian leva), as UBB will consult you on the terms and conditions for reaching that amount.

Guarantee fee	No fee
Repayment term	Minimum - 12 months Maximum: For investment loans – standard period of up to 120 months, depending on the project type the repayment period may reach 144 months For working capital loans - overdrafts, revolving credit lines, bank guarantees - up to 48 months For working capital loans in installments - up to 36 months
Eligibility for lending	Tentative list of project types, eligible for funding: Investments in projects for production of renewable energy, including photo voltaic installations Purchase of auxiliary components for renewable energy sources Manufacturing of products through renewable energy sources: Key components and machines Construction of a system for storage of electric energy Construction of energy efficient new non-residential buildings Manufacture of energy efficient products Investments for enhancing the energy efficiency in the agriculture Investments for enhancing the energy efficiency in the manufacturing industries Purchasing of passenger cars and light-freight vehicles Purchasing of heavy-duty freight vehicles Investments in infrastructure and main components for electric vehicles Investments in projects that contribute for the transition to circular economy Net savings of resources through re-use, repair, renovation, processing, re-routing or re-cycling Sustainable agriculture and livestock breeding The list shows only part of the sustainable projects, eligible for funding under the programme. We at UBB will review your investment and will ascertain its compliance with the programme requirements.
Collateral-related requirements	Not more than 42.5% of the loan amount as per a collateral value, accepted by UBB (excl. the RRF guarantee)

Needed Documents

Decision by the company’s competent body for obtaining a loan and providing collateral for it
Balance Sheet, Income Statement and a Tax Return for the last year
Collateral ownership documents
Copies of the ID cards of the company’s representative - borrower/co-debtor/pledgors/mortgagors
Certificate for availability /lack of arrears, issued by the revenue authority as per Art 87, Para 6 of the Tax Insurance Procedure Code
Declaration Statement of relatedness with other entities according to a sample format
Documents, needed to prove the Borrower’s eligibility
