New digital service for payment of local taxes and fees via UBB Mobile

UBB Mobile has added a new functionality to its versatile menu of services. UBB’s mobile app now enables individual customers of the biggest bank in Bulgaria in terms of assets to pay their local taxes and fees directly through their phones. Thus, the Bank expands its spectrum of digital services, which renders personal finance management easier, by also adding the payment of obligations without the need to physically visit the relevant institutions.

Through the new service customers may pay their property taxes, vehicle taxes, waste disposal fees and others. The service is accessible via the Additional Services category in the mobile banking home screen. Users can pay one or several obligations of theirs in one payment, by choosing whether to pay the entire amount as a lump sum or in installments, as well as pay somebody else’s bills. UBB Mobile also provides payment documents and access to payments history.
The payment process via UBB Mobile is extremely easy and secure. Data about payable sums is being loaded automatically in the app, when the customer pays his/her own bills. Thus, he/she may check very quickly for any pending payables. The payment itself is being effected within seconds, as for the purpose you only need to select the account to be used for fund transfer purposes.
At this stage the service is accessible to customers, who are taxpayers with 19 municipalities throughout Bulgaria: Sofia, Plovdiv, Ruse, Burgas, Pernik, Lovech, Vidin, Pazardzhik, Primorsko, Belogradchik, Byala Slatina, Mezdra, Momchilgrad, Berkovitsa, Breznik, Targovishte, Lyubimetz, Tsarevo and Veliki Preslav. Gradually, there will be more municipalities added, to cover an ever-growing number of customers
